Following discussions in September 2025, Stickler Syndrome UK is pleased to announce participation in the Marfan Foundation's Second International Symposium due to take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bloomsbury this Autumn.
This in-person event is hosted by the Marfan Foundation and sponsored by their Global Champion Sponsor (Terumo Aortic). We are delighted to be collaborators for this event along with Annabelle's Challenge, Marfan Trust UK, The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust, and Loeys Dietz. It is a fantastic opportunity for Stickler Syndrome UK to work and learn alongside other charities in the area of rare conditions.
Attendees can learn from medical experts from the UK, the US and around the world and general sessions will address Marfan, LDS, VEDS and Stickler syndrome with dedicated 'breakout' sessions focused on each condition. The content is designed for individuals and families living with these conditions and there will be ample time for questions.
We hope very much that this event will allow you to:
- Increase your understanding of your diagnosis
- Hear the latest updates on treatments and quality of life issues
- Get your questions answered by leading experts in their field
- Connect and collaborate with speakers and others in your area
- Meet some familiar medical professionals and people associated with Stickler Syndrome UK
