It’s not every day that we get to congratulate someone for a massive achievement, especially when they’re also fundraising to help the Stickler Syndrome UK charity carry out its objectives for our community.
Tiffany managed to complete not one, but three, triathlons and has raised over £1500 by participating in these events in Blithfield, Matlock and Derby in the space of a single month… much out of her comfort zone.

The events have been closely supported by son, Otto, who was born with Stickler Syndrome in 2021. The symptoms were identified very early by the clinical team at Great Ormond Street Hospital and his continued care is now at Addenbrooke’s CUH under the guidance of the Highly Specialised Stickler Syndrome Service which is based at the Cambridge site.
Like many others, Otto has had several operations in his young developmental years but has a lovely charismatic character and a positive attitude despite the limitations that are part of living with this condition.
Congratulations, and a big thanks to Tiffany, Otto, family, friends and sponsors.
The Just Giving page is still open if you’d like to add to Tiffany and Otto’s sponsorship.
